Welcome to the Toy For Kids Softball Tournament.

Format: The teams will play into a pool play in to a split winners and loser bracket

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING ONE $10 UNWRAPPED TOY PER PLAYER.

Playing Time: 50 minutes (including Championship Game). The games will start on the hour * There will be NO grace time added proir to game start time * Team’s must be ready for play 30 min’s before schudeled game time * GAMES WILL START EARLY IF POSSIBLE

Rules will be USSSA Modified

Except amended by the Utah State By-Laws Tournament rules, all rules of United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) will be used.

No Forfeit rule: At game-time, the game will start with as few as 8 players present. If there is less than 10, there will be an automatic out for each missing player. *If batting an odd amount, the auto out will be in place.

All teams are responsible for their spectators.

Run rule: 20 Run’s after 3 innings. 15 Runs after 4 innings. 10 Runs after 5 innings. * With accompanying flip flop rules

Tournament Director will supply 2 Mens balls & 2 Womens balls. Any Classic M, Pro M ball, Classic W or Hard-Core ball Stamped with USSSA Or GSL is allowed

• Home-run Rule: 1 per game all others ore outs. Teams may buy up to 4 per game giviving them a max of 5 HRs per game *1 for $5 or 4 for $20 ( HR tickets do no carry over to the next game)

• Umpires will keep score
• Count starts 1-1, Pitch hight is 3-10, Mat & Plate will be called a strike

• Any Director can ask for a bat for any reason at any time. ONLY 240 USSSA STAMPED BATS are legal for this event.

• Unlimited runners, anytime anywhere per gender
• Teams may bat up to 12 players in ANY order.
• Teams may 5/5, 6/6, 6/4 or 7/4 * Must have at least 4 girls on defense at all times (1^st Number is male players, 2^nd number is female players)
• Defense mens or women can play anywere
