Upper & Lower Guidelines
Upper and Lower Division Guidelines
To ensure fair and competitive play, the following guidelines will determine team placement in the upper and lower divisions:
Men’s Division
- Teams with one or more C players will be placed in the upper division, even if the rest of the roster consists of D players.
- The lower division is reserved for D Elite and below only.
Coed Division
- Teams with one or more C players (male or female) will be placed in the upper division.
- The lower division is for D Elite and below only.
Women’s Division
Since the program is still developing, we will use the following placement guidelines:
- E team vs. D team – The E team may choose home team or receive 4 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 2 innings).
- E team vs. C team – The E team will receive home team and 6 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 3 innings).
- E team vs. B or above team – The E team will receive home team and 8 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 4 innings).
- D team vs. C team – The D team may choose home team or receive 4 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 2 innings).
- D team vs. B or above team – The D team will receive home team and 6 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 3 innings).
- C team vs. B or above team – The C team may choose home team or receive 4 spotted runs (2 per inning for the first 2 innings).
Bracket & Roster Guidelines
- Brackets will be created based on each team’s officially approved online roster on the Monday before the event and will be released on Wednesday before the event.
- Ensure that all players are approved on your online roster before the event, If the team does not have a completed online roster the team will be placed in the upper division.
- If a player is caught participating without being on the official roster, the team will be disqualified and removed from the event.
